The Acquisitions Business Analyst I supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Operations and Information (DASA FOI) within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller), providing direct support to the Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) within the Resourcing and Accounting Division (RAD). The Analyst supports acquisition and procurement lifecycle activities, assisting in documentation, requirement gathering, financial tracking, and process improvement.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists CORs with acquisition documentation and tracking of contract requirements, deliverables, and funding status.
Gathers and documents requirements from Requirement Owners and stakeholders to support procurement planning.
Supports the development and review of Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and IGCEs.
Tracks contract obligations, expenditures, and invoicing updates at the CLIN level.
Assists with invoice validation and coordination with vendors and payment offices.
Supports annual spend plan development, support agreements, and billing document preparation.
Creates basic dashboards and tracking tools in Excel or Power BI for procurement and financial visibility.
Organizes records management files and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Participates in meetings, note-taking, and support SOP/process map updates related to acquisition functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field and minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in acquisition, contracting, or federal procurement support, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
