Overview:

The Instructor Trainer supports the federal client by conducting training and assistance training on search strategy and how to analyze inventive concepts, convert them into search queries, and manipulate those queries to narrow/broaden results and filter to the most useful documents.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance level for access to classified information, systems, facilities, equipment, and property.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience providing adult learning training, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

Expert on major and ancillary USPTO automation/software

Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with experience communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Conducts training and assistance for internal Automated Information Systems (AIS)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Assists with the development of new training materials and with modifications or customization of existing training materials.

Ensures all training materials are available, ensures all equipment is functional prior to start of session. Troubleshoots and corrects training equipment problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience providing adult learning training, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office / home office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear.
