Program Manager - MMFPT
The Program Manager - MMFPT will schedule, document, coordinate, develop, monitor, lead, and de-conflict all aspects of the United States Army Special Operations Command’s (USASOC), Military Mobile Force Protection (MMFPT) Program. This position uses documented and current experience in real world situations in Afghanistan and other areas where Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) Soldiers are involved in combat or other high risk operations that are specific to the tactics being taught.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides program management and leadership for all students and instructors of the MMFPT Program.
Interfaces across all facets of Operations to ensure precise support of MMFPT activities and training.
Recommends ways to enhance the organization’s skills and capabilities through coaching/mentoring, formal education and training, as well as strategic hiring of contract instructors. Establishes effective position descriptions for training staff.
Collaborates with other Managers and Supervisors to assign staff appropriately in order to produce high quality results. Monitors and enforces accurate reporting for work times.
Establishes, continuously monitors and budgets to assure consistency with financial performance requirements and goals. Identifies innovative ways to find cost savings.
Assists with development and compliance of a comprehensive safety and security program that ensures the company is compliant with OSHA, Department of Defense, Department of State, Federal, and state regulations. Maintains compliance with the company safety and security training program. Ensures all annual requirements are completed and documented for Guardian Centers staff.
Responsible for procurement, asset tracking and asset disposal. Establishes inventory control processes, and ensures all procurements are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Establishes a life cycle process that allows for full-utilization of each asset and disposal with an appropriate return on the asset investment.
Manages and reports on assigned Program objectives including ensuring the project is on-time, within budget and has quality performance. Conducts periodic reviews to assure that performance is on-track.
Oversees all support personnel and the effectiveness of the staff. Records hours in accordance with defined projects.
Advises the Executive Vice President of Operations consistently regarding the status of all MMFPT training operations to assure that the diverse client base that utilizes GC will not be impacted with lost training time or asset limitations.
Reports the status of projects, courses and budgetary items including problems, performance, staffing, deadlines, and/or tasks that have potential to impact organizational operations.
Establishes and maintains excellent rapport with other program management staff, training staff and the customer base through various communications by obtaining feedback, correcting potential issues and seeking new opportunities.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the US Army’s Special Forces, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Six or more years’ in a management position. Must be a graduate of the US Army Special Forces Assessment and Selection Course with relevant USASOC operational field experience in current theatres of operations (deployments to Afghanistan, Africa, Iraq, etc.) within the last five years. USAJFKSWCS or similar instructional and/or curriculum development experience preferred. Must have at least one year of documented experience in providing this specific type of training in environments and conditions the same as, or similar to, those found in Afghanistan and/or the other areas where ARSOF Soldiers are involved in combat or other high risk operations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
Must be able to hold or obtain a Top Secret DoD security clearance or equivalent
PMP certification preferred
Certifications in technical fields of expertise preferred

Broad domain knowledge in both military mobile force protection and range operations being addressed in the organization, staying abreast of new developments and applications
Working knowledge of Government and DoD organizations, policies, regulations, and needs, as well as relationships with DoD professionals in the field of expertise
Skilled proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and project management software programs
Knowledgeable of and skilled in implementing “best-in-class” concepts / principles within the areas of planning, scheduling, budgeting and operations for successful achievement of program objectives
Excellent leadership, capital planning, financial management, cost control, estimating and contract negotiating skills
