Senior Network Administrator
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the voice and data network systems for Chickasaw Nation Industries. This positions is responsible for the installation and maintenance of network systems, applications, security, and configurations within the company network infrastructure. The Senior Network Administrator also ensures that network systems and related procedures adhere to company standards as well as process development and improvement recommendations with senior network staff. This position uses a thorough knowledge of network processes, concepts, best practices and procedures and of network protocols and security.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Designs, installs, configures, and supports company internal and/or external network systems, applications, telecommunications, video conferencing, mobile device management, and security.
Troubleshoots routine and non-routine network performance issues at all seven layers of the OSI model. Works directly with other company support teams, vendors and customers to troubleshoot issues. Also is responsible for creating and maintaining a disaster recovery plan with senior staff.
Upgrades and patches company network systems applications and equipment. Works directly with vendors on patch research, revisions and deployment. Works with senior staff on patch recommendation, strategy and deployment processes.
Performs all network administration and maintenance of designated company network(s) required to meet company business requirements. Provides next level support when junior staff are unable to resolve issue(s). Communicates to senior staff if issue(s) need to be escalated.
Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes and service records.
Conducts research on network products, services, protocols and standards to stay up-to-date on developments in the networking industry.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.
This position is full-time and may require after hours or on-call support including, to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, Network and Telecommunications, or a related field of study, and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education / experience.
Cisco Call Manager / Unity experience, experience in networking with Cisco equipment routing / switching / wireless, VPN, and Next-Gen Firewall experience required. Experience with collaboration and mobile device management technologies such as Cisco Jabber, WebEx, and VMWare Airwatch are a plus.
CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION
CCNP or CCNP + Voice certification preferred

Expert knowledge of physical and logical connectivity with expert knowledge including but not limited to, routing and routed protocols, wireless networks, firewall operations, load balancers and systems communications
Must be considered expert with interpreting packet captures with tools including but not limited to, Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
Advanced expertise with a wide variety of network vendor hardware and software including but not limited to Cisco, F5, Barracuda, Palo Alto, VMWare NSX, VMWare Workspace One and Airwatch, and Solarwinds
