SUMMARY

DIGITALiBiz, LLC, is providing engineering and operational support with the U.S. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic to support the National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Polar Programs.  The work on this contract supports ongoing efforts required for the Aviation and Polar Programs mission at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and the Remote Operations Facility in Charleston, SC.The Systems Maintenance Administrative Assistant will report to the NIWC Atlantic Polar Programs Systems and Maintenance Engineering team and work with the project teams to provide support in the administration of project documentation, plans, reporting, coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.  Supports the Systems and Maintenance Engineering team in achieving successful project outcomes. They will collaborate with entire management team to reach organizational and departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain a T1 government security clearance for access to Joint Base Charleston facilities, equipment and property.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Tracks, analyzes program and project data, and report program/project data.

Compiles and offers routine reports on program operations to program management.

Determines opportunities to streamline current processes.

Supports development of processes and procedures.

Adheres to project plans and standard operating procedures.

Audits program activity on contract and data integrity.

Perform various administrative support duties to include taking minutes during meetings.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.  

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Ability to work as a team member and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Highly organized and possess strong administrative skills.

Self-directed, high degree of personal initiative.

Proficient in standard Office software tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Teams).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
