Sr. Acquisitions Analyst

The Sr. Acquisitions Analyst is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their financial performance and strategic fit. Works independently as a specialist on complex technical and business matters.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the followingOther duties may be assigned. 

 

Conducts comprehensive research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets in line with the organization’s growth strategy. 

 

Evaluates financial statements, market trends, and industry data to assess the financial performance and strategic fit of potential targets. 

 

Performs due diligence on potential acquisitions, including analyzing financial statements, conducting market research, and assessing risks and opportunities. 

 

Prepares detailed financial models and valuation analyses to determine the potential value and return on investment of potential acquisitions. 

 

Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure smooth execution of the acquisition process. 

 

Prepares and presents reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. 

 

Monitors and tracks industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential acquisition opportunities. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $110K to $130K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
