Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI)
incorporated on August 15, 1996, is a federally chartered tribal 8(a) corporation wholly owned by the Chickasaw Nation with its headquarters in Ada, Oklahoma, and major offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico; San Antonio, Texas; Columbus, Georgia; and Washington D.C. CNI is also a small disadvantaged business (SDB) located in an historically under-utilized area, and is also a certified Hubzone business.
President Bush and his Administration, through the Small Business Administration (SBA), have mandated that federal agencies reward certain advantages, including a potential ten percent preference on federal contracts, to tribally owned 8(a) businesses. This mandate has resulted in federal agencies pursuing contract opportunities with tribal 8(a) businesses exclusively or in prime/sub-contractor relationships involving other companies.
CNI, as a prime contractor, is responsible for maximizing the core competencies of our sub-contractors and for selecting companies with a history of commitment to providing efficient and high-quality support to their customers. CNI accepts full responsibility for the successful completion of all contracts, whether performed by CNI, its partners or its subcontractors.
CNI's business capabilities currently include the following:
CNI-Construction and Property Management: a construction management, general contractor and design-builder division providing construction, high technology and infrastructure development, design, implementation and property management capabilities.
CNI-Professional Medical Services: a contract medical staffing and product division providing high quality medical services and supplies to military and government health-care facilities throughout North America.
CNI-Information Technologies: a full service information technology division providing technical support, business support, records management and aviation technology.
CNI-Manufacturing: a sheet steel and structural steel manufacturing facility.
