SUMMARY

The Cross Domain Information Assurance Analyst Supervisor leads cross domain teams to prepare cross domain solution briefings, information papers, and status reports, and approval package as required for point to point, cloud, and enterprise cross domain solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science degree or related field of study. Advanced degree preferred.

Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.

Knowledge and Experience with functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy.

Expert level knowledge and experience with establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.

Demonstrate expert level knowledge of determining the resources required for quality control.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATION

Must be have an active DOD Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. 

IAM II Certification 8570 DOD. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Provides daily supervision and direction to the Cross Domain (CD) contractor team.

Reviews U.S. federal policy and procedures to include NIST, Joint Staff, and DoD, for use of CD solutions and provides analysis of compliance with policy and procedure requirements for products in the client’s information technology architecture and systems.

Provides expertise and processes cross domain solutions in accordance with published policy and procedures, and tracks status of those actions.

Reviews and analyzes Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) submitted by system owners, to create status reports on remediation of vulnerabilities as required.

Performs onboarding of Cloud Service Provider offerings specifically related to cloud cross domain offering capabilities.

Provides support, review and maintenance of accreditation packages for cloud cross domain requirements.

Maintains and tracks the status of all cross-domain offerings in the designated system of record.

Attends monthly meetings and provides input to all governing Cross Domain working groups, boards and panels to include CDTAB, DSAWG, and ISRMC.

Provides a broad range of technical abilities (i.e., cybersecurity, networking concepts and understanding, general System Architecture), in addition to Cross Domain technology, DMZ architecture, and controlled interfaces.

Identifies all issues or topics that require a CDTAB level risk rating decision in the CDTAB meetings; identifies potential/upcoming topics; identifies tasking that provides additional information for the CDTAB’s consideration; and organizes and proposes issues and topics for consideration at monthly CDTAB meetings.

Develops technical papers, not to exceed a total of ten papers per year, at a maximum of fifteen pages each, describing CD related issues and topics for coordination with the appropriate CDSE, and DSAWG representatives.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
