CNI | Spotlight | Julie Morris

At Chickasaw Nation Industries, we are fortunate to have so many employees who embody CNI’s motto of ‘Service Without Reservation’. For Julie Morris, a Field Support Tech on our Tinker Air Force Base contract in OKC, this is a motto that is exemplified throughout both her professional and personal life.

Julie served in the US Navy prior to starting with CNI, and with her husband a retired Air Force Veteran and her two children currently active-duty Air Force, it’s clear that service is a common trait in the Morris family.

Not only has Julie proudly served her country, but she continues to serve her community as well. Outside of work, Julie is a keen papercraft enthusiast and is a member of a group called ‘Stampin Up Demonstrators’. This group holds fundraisers twice a year to raise funds for different community groups, with their most recent event raising money for ‘Limbs for Life’, an organization dedicated to providing fully functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it.

In addition to these fundraising events, this group answers the call from the local community as needs arise, whether it be providing sheets for foster kids, blankets and snacks for the homeless population, providing supplies for schools, or stuffing Christmas stockings for those in need.

Julie plans to retire next year but has no desire to stop serving and supporting her community. “After 40 years in the computer technology industry, I’m looking forward to my retirement so that I can devote more time to helping others,” says Julie.

Julie truly epitomizes Chickasaw Nation Industries’ motto of ‘Service Without Reservation’. We thank you for your dedication to CNI, your country and your community.
